Kizomba NYC: Although Kizomba the dance is from Angola the music “Kizomba” is deeply rooted in Caribbean music and culture, namely zouk & compas.  For this reason, I believe it’s essential to share this class with you.  It is also worth noting that although the dance Kizomba originated from Angolan Semba, Semba itself has many elements that are seen in Cuban Son.

Kizomba NYC offers classes in Queens on Thursdays & in NYC on Sundays.  Please be sure to check out their website to find out more about their schedule details.
